A Roadmap for Biomass‐Driven Development of Sustainable Phase Change Materials

open access: yesChemSusChem, EarlyView.
This comprehensive review advances the scientific understanding of sustainability and circularity in phase change material (PCM) fabrication by providing a strategic framework for developing composites from abundant, renewable resources. By screening biomass‐derived PCMs, carbons, and biopolymers, a roadmap is outlined for the development of ...

Boosting the Energy Density Through In Situ Thermal Gelation of Polymer Electrolyte with Lithium‐Graphite Composite Anode

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Figures a–b and c–d present the ToF‐SIMS results of the Li metal and polymer electrolyte interface before and after cycling, respectively. After cycling, accumulation of S− and LiF− components at the interface was observed, confirming the formation of an artificial SEI layer. We have entered the age of renewable energy revolution.

Conductive Agent‐Controlled Tortuosity in Solvent‐Free Thick‐Film Electrodes for High‐Energy Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This study proposes a scalable process for low‐tortuosity thick LFP electrodes with PTFE binder. Various dimensional types of conductive agents were introduced in this electrode to manage porosity of electrodes and interpreted the relationship between tortuosity and electrochemical performance.

Thermodynamics and the Fuel Qualities of Produced Biodiesel From Nonedible Biomaterials: RStudio and Central Composite Design Approach

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Schematic approach of the green diesel production process and its utilization. ABSTRACT A unique green catalyst was derived from novel powdered Uzere tallow seeds shell calcined at 700°C for 1 h in a muffle furnace. The catalytic activity of the Uzere acidified catalyst was due to a high proportion of sulphur trioxide, calcium oxide, and potassium ...
