Research on Digital Steganography and Image Synthesis Model Based on Improved Wavelet Neural Network. [PDF]

open access: yesComput Intell Neurosci, 2022
Network compression coding technology is a research hotspot in the field of digital steganography and image synthesis. How to improve image quality while achieving short compression time is a problem currently faced. Based on the improved wavelet neural network theory, this paper constructs a digital steganography and image synthesis model.

A hardware prototype of wideband high‐dynamic range analog‐to‐digital converter

open access: yesIET Circuits, Devices &Systems, Volume 17, Issue 4, Page 181-192, July 2023., 2023
The authors present a hardware prototype of a high‐dynamic range analog‐to‐digital converter (ADC) where a folding operation enhances the dynamic range. The authors show sampling and perfect reconstruction of different classes of signals whose dynamic ranges are larger than that of ADC's dynamic range.

PAPR reduction technique for FBMC based visible light communication systems

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 16, Issue 15, Page 1807-1814, September 2022., 2022
Abstract One of the critical challenges in multicarrier‐based systems is peak to average power ratio (PAPR). Recently, Filter Bank Multicarrier (FBMC) is proved to be a promising candidate that can replace the traditional orthogonal multiplexing division (OFDM) scheme due to its better spectral efficiency, reducing both inter‐channel interference (ICI)

PAPR reduction of OFDM systems using H‐SLM method with a multiplierless IFFT/FFT technique

open access: yesETRI Journal, Volume 44, Issue 3, Page 379-388, June 2022., 2022
Abstract This study proposes a novel low‐complexity algorithm for computing inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT)/fast Fourier transform (FFT) operations in binary phase shift keying‐modulated orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communication systems without requiring any twiddle factor multiplications.

State solutions for distribution systems and switching event using a neural network

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission &Distribution, Volume 16, Issue 1, Page 71-83, January 2022., 2022
Abstract Power flow calculations are an essential stage in many planning and control applications for distribution systems. To use these in control applications, however, the calculation time needs to be improved, and this can be done by the use of a trained ANN.

Long‐time coherent integration based on intra‐partition range‐Doppler processing for passive bistatic radar

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 15, Issue 2, Page 128-142, February 2021., 2021
Abstract The Doppler mismatch, range migration and Doppler frequency migration (DFM) correction problem for realizing the long‐time coherent integration of space moving target with high‐speed manoeuvring performance in passive bistatic radar is considered.

Symmetric Quantile Quantizer Parameterization for the Laplacian Source: Qualification for Contemporary Quantization Solutions

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
In this paper, we consider the opportunities and constraints, which rest on quantization as a guiding principle for data representation and compression. In particular, we propose a novel model of Symmetric Quantile Quantizer (SQQ) and we describe in detail its parameterization. We suggest a simple method for offline precalculation of its parameters and

On the selection of the best companding technique for PAPR reduction in OFDM systems

open access: yesJournal of Information and Telecommunication, 2019
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is used in high data rate applications due to its ability to cope with frequency-selective channels. However, OFDM suffers from the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) problem, which reduces the power

Performance improvement of a SOA-based coherent optical-OFDM transmission system via nonlinear companding transforms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
International audienceCoherent-Optical OFDM systems are known to be sensitive to large peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) at the transmitter output, due to nonlinear properties of some components involved in the transmission link.

Enhancement of Analytical OBR (Out of Band Radiation) and BER Calculation for Digital Au-dio-Video Broadcasting in Companded OFDM System using Non-Symmetric QAM/QPSK Tecniques [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Companding transforms useful under assumption of infinite bandwidth. Under band limited conditions OBR parameter filters out. So bandwidth is a factor that decides the filter-ing out OBR on the performance of companded OFDM sys-tems.
