Sub‐Unit‐Cell Logic Governs Transport in TPMS Architectures
ABSTRACT Next‐generation energy, thermal, and chemical systems require architectures capable of highly efficient transport across multiple length scales. Triply periodic minimal surfaces (TPMS), first conceptualized in 1865, offer inherently scalable geometries with exceptional transport potential, yet mechanistic links between topology and performance

Community, Comparisons and Subjective Well-being in a Divided Society [PDF]
Using a South African data set, the paper poses six questions about the determinants of subjective well-being. Much of the paper is concerned with the role of relative concepts. We find that comparator income – measured as average income of others in the

Adaptive voting computer system [PDF]
A computer system is reported that uses adaptive voting to tolerate failures and operates in a fail-operational, fail-safe manner. Each of four computers is individually connected to one of four external input/output (I/O) busses which interface with ...

Tracking of [14C]Polystyrene Nanoplastics in Pregnant Mice
This study investigates [14C]polystyrene nanoplastic ([14C]PS) translocation in late‐stage pregnant mice after intranasal (0.5 mg of [14C]PS on GD12, GD14, and GD16, n = 6) and intravenous administration (1.5 mg of [14C]PS on GD16, n = 6). 14C‐radiolabel allows quantitative tracking of unmodified polystyrene nanoplastics.

Optical system facilitates inspection of printed circuit boards [PDF]
Optical comparator method determines the quality and registration of surface features of double-sided printed circuit boards. Color-coded superimposed images of both sides of a printed circuit board are presented to view, clearly showing details and ...

Multi‐Physical Field Modulated P‐Bit Device Based on VO2 Thin Film
We have proposed a VO2‐based P‐bit device where synergistic multi‐physical field modulation enables real‐time tunability of randomness. Besides introducing a new phase‐change material‐based device approach for high‐performance P‐bits, this study also demonstrates a synergistic multi‐physical field modulation strategy that opens new opportunities for ...

Non-deterministic random bit generator based on electronics noise
Non-deterministic random bits are needed in many scientific fields. Unfortunately today's computers are very limited in ability to produce them. We present here a method for extraction of non-deterministic random bits from random physics processes, and ...

We report an electrochemical biosensor that employs biopanning‐derived affinity peptides as selective receptors on a multifunctional chitosan–zwitterionic–gold nanoparticle (CS–ZI–AuNPs) nanohydrogel interface. The CS–ZI–AuNPs nanohydrogel exhibits antifouling properties, abundant sites for stable peptide immobilization, and efficient electrochemical ...
