A punched-tape comparator using integrated circuits

Microelectronics Reliability, 1964
Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on a punched-tape comparator using integrated circuits. The function of the comparator is to detect differences between two five-digit computer tapes. It synchronizes and controls the operation of two tape-readers such that they will read tape simultaneously until the comparator recognizes a difference between ...

An advanced associative comparator integrated circuit

Proceedings of the 33rd Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2002
An area-efficient high-performance associative comparator has been developed using standard and custom cells. Although a conservative fabrication technology was used, the throughput of the programmable window comparator (PWC) array exceeds the equivalent of 3*10/sup 9/ 8-bit arithmetic operations/second.

A comparator circuit

2019
According to an aspect of the present inventive concept there is provided a comparator circuit comprising:a master latch comprising a first amplifier circuit and a first latch circuit coupled to an output of the first amplifier circuit;a slave latch comprising a second amplifier circuit having an input coupled to the output of the first amplifier ...

Frequency dividing circuit and phase comparator

Journal of Scientific Instruments, 1962
A pulse counting circuit is described which delivers every nth pulse to its output where n is any number up to the capacity of the circuit. The phase comparator accepts two pulse trains of the same frequency and measures the phase difference between them to an accuracy of better than four parts in ten thousand.

Comparing MOS and bipolar integrated circuits

IEEE Spectrum, 1967
In terms of speed and speed/power performance, bipolar integrated circuits are superior to metal-oxide-semiconductor integrated circuits. This superiority is based on the high transconductance inherent in bipolar transistors and is technology-independent.

Verification of arithmetic circuits by comparing two similar circuits

1996
Recently there have been a lot of progress in technologies for comparing two structurally similar large circuits [2, 14, 13]. Circuits having more than 10,000 gates, whose BDD cannot be built, have been verified in several minutes. However, arithmetic circuit verification with respect to specification is still a hard problem.
