PP/SEBS/MA/ZnO filaments produced by bench‐top single‐screw extrusion show refined morphology, increased crystallinity, improved thermal robustness, and preliminary FFF printability, demonstrating a practical route for functional filament development. ABSTRACT Currently, single‐screw extrusion offers a versatile and accessible route to produce polymer ...

Is compatibility critical in polymer engineering?
The paper focuses on the necessity for compatibilization in polymer blends and composites due to the differing chemical nature of the components, which causes antagonism on the contacting surfaces. To achieve stable polymer blends and composites with the

Compatibilization phenomenon in polymer science and technology: Chemical aspects
Polymer blends are mixtures of two or more macromolecular species – polymers and/or copolymers. They are used to increase the range of properties available from existing polymers without synthesizing new ones, which is time consuming and expensive.

Acoustic emission analysis of failure processes in polyethylene and recycled tire rubber blends
In this study, we developed a test method using acoustic emission (AE) to investigate the failure process and degree of compatibility of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) blends filled with ground tire rubber (GTR).

In 1910, in the journal Hrvatsko kolo of Matica Hrvatska, Albert Bazala published his article “O slobodi volje” [“On the freedom of the will”], in which he argues for compatibilism between free will and determinism. In this article, I analyze Bazala’s compatibilism.

Compatibilism is the view that moral responsibility is compatible with determinism. Natural compatibilism is the view that in ordinary social cognition, people are compatibilists. Researchers have recently debated whether natural compatibilism is true. This paper presents six experiments (N = 909) that advance this debate.
