Compensation of attacks on consensus networks
2016 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2016In this paper, we propose a methodology for compensation of attacks on consensus networks. We assume that the network achieves its desired consensus value under a normal operational setting i.e. when the networked system is not under attack. We propose an adaptive based technique to ensure that the networked system maintains its desired behavior when ...

Watermarking Neural Network with Compensation Mechanism
2020In recent years, the rapid development of neural networks has also brought his intellectual property (IP) protection. Embedding a watermark in a neural network is an effective scheme to protect its IP. In this paper, we propose a new watermark embedding scheme with compensation mechanism that is different from the previous regularization embedding ...

Distributed interference compensation for wireless networks
IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, 2006We consider a distributed power control scheme for wireless ad hoc networks, in which each user announces a price that reflects compensation paid by other users for their interference. We present an asynchronous distributed algorithm for updating power levels and prices.

Compensating networks for sliding-mode control
Proceedings of ISCAS'95 - International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2002The introduction of compensating networks in sliding-mode controlled dc-to-dc switching converters improves the converter start-up behaviour and reduces steady-state errors in the circuit output response. The ideal equivalence among sliding regimes and PWM control responses in nonlinear dynamical systems is used to model the converter dynamics around ...

Compensation of Sensors Nonlinearity with Neural Networks
2010 24th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications, 2010This paper describes a method of linearizing the nonlinear characteristics of many sensors using an embedded neural network. The proposed method allows for complex neural networks with very powerful architectures to be embedded on a very inexpensive 8-bit microcontroller.

Nonlinearity Compensation in Modern Submarine Networks
2019 24th OptoElectronics and Communications Conference (OECC) and 2019 International Conference on Photonics in Switching and Computing (PSC), 2019This paper reviews the state of nonlinearity compensation technologies. Performance, complexity, and new techniques, such as neural-network NLC, are discussed in the context of modern submarine networks.

Delay Compensation for Networked Control Systems
First International Conference on Innovative Computing, Information and Control - Volume I (ICICIC'06), 2006The control problem via output feedback of networked control system is considered in this paper. A method of estimating the undelayed plant state by using the delayed version of output is put forward and a compensation scheme for random bounded delay is presented. Stability of such system is also considered and some conclusions are deduced.

Imbalance compensation in heterogeneous DO networks
21st Annual IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2010This paper studies the effects of heterogeneity in DO networks and proposes measures for reducing or removing them. In particular, two types of imbalance, i.e., f-Imbalance and OH-Imbalance are identified and methods for compensating them, i.e., RL padding and AT overhead (OH) channel boost, are proposed.
