Solvent‐Free Thermal Defect Engineering in Molecular Frameworks With Volatile Linkers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Thermal removal of neutral volatile linkers enables precise and solvent‐free generation of metal vacancies in MOFs. This strategy affords redox‐stable, coordinatively unsaturated FeII sites with tunable spin, ligand coordination, and catalytic behavior. The approach offers a general route to design defect‐functional materials through local coordination

Low Resistance Interphase Formation at the PEO‐LiTFSI|LGPS Interface in Lithium Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Interfacial charge transfer and low‐resistance interphase formation between PEO‐based polymer and Li10GeP2S12 solid electrolytes are investigated using multi‐electrode impedance spectroscopy and advanced analytical techniques such as XPS and ToF‐SIMS.

Site‐Selective Polyvinylpyrrolidone Adsorption Behavior for 3D Heterogeneous Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Site‐selective adsorption behavior is presented with polyvinylpyrrolidone on a Cu/SiO2 pattern wafer, which enables 3D heterogeneous integration. Owing to the site‐selective adsorption behavior and its corresponding electrostatic interaction between SiO2 nanoparticles and the Cu surface, the selectivity of Cu/SiO2 is arbitrarily controlled ...

Competence Modelling, Competence Models and Competence Development - an Overview

open access: yes, 2011
This paper will summarize the potential use cases and impacts of competences and skills in the new area, often called "Digital Age": It will highlight the roles and benefits of standards and metadata for HR development and points out the special support that competence models can provide for the quality development in learning, education, and training.
