Oxygen‐Tunnel Indium Tin Oxide Vertical Channel Transistors with Enhanced Current Density and Reliability for Monolithic 3D Compute‐In‐Memory Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Oxygen‐tunnel (OT) indium tin oxide (ITO) vertical channel transistors (VCTs) enable reliable, high‐density gain‐cell memory for monolithic 3D integration. A sandwiched SiN/SiO2/SiN OT stack selectively regulates oxygen transport, suppressing parasitic electrode oxidation while stabilizing channel oxygen vacancies, thereby suppressing carrier injection

Algorithms and Competition Law – Status and Challenges

open access: yes
Algorithmic collusion has been looming large in the competition law discourse, driven by some case law and pioneering publications from the OECD, Gal, Ezrachi/Stucke, and others.

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

3D Printing Innovations in Polymeric Porous and Patterned Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polymeric foams occupy a unique structural space between dense solids and open networks, where engineered void fraction governs mechanical compliance, thermal resistance, and mass transport. Additive manufacturing now enables precise spatial control over cellular architecture, unlocking designer foam structures across applications spanning crash ...

Responsive competition law

open access: yesEuropean Law Open
This article applies the lessons from the prior theory of responsive regulation in criminology to EU competition law and extends these lessons to argue in favour of an enhanced form of responsive competition law.

Journal Presentation: Market and Competition Law Review

open access: yes, 2017
The presentation highlights the features that distinguish the Market and Competition Law Review from other English-language competition law journals, notably its focus on the interplay between antitrust law, state aids law, and internal market ...

Glissile Interphase Boundaries Enable Collective Phase Switching in Epitaxial Polar Oxides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A triple point is identified in the phase diagram of low‐symmetry epitaxial BiFeO3 thin film along with an extended regime of phase competition associated with a flattened energy landscape. The electromechanical response is shown to be governed by correlated interphase‐boundary motion, including scale‐free avalanche dynamics characteristic of systems ...

Dynamic Interfacial Chemistry of Choline Chloride as Electrolyte Additive for Stable Zn‐Iodine Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Choline chloride (ChCl) additive enables dynamic interface engineering in Zn‐I2 batteries by forming hydrophobic polyiodide complexes and a Zn‐stabilizing Ch+‐rich layer under electric field modulation. This dual‐function strategy suppresses iodine hydrolysis and dendrite formation, while optimizing Zn2+ solvation and transport for high‐efficiency ...
