Co‐Solvent‐Aided Opto‐Thermophoretic Printing of Gold Nanorod Assemblies
Advanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.A focused laser beam creates a thermal gradient, driving the gold nanorods and polymer coils toward the heated region of the glass substrate, i.e, the laser spot. After the adsorption of the polymer on the gold surface, the nanorods start to assemble onto the surface in a ring‐shaped pattern that grows radially until the beam is turned off.

Advanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.Optical trapping controls nano‐ and microparticle assembly using various forces, including absorption for photoexcitable resonant molecules. This study demonstrates photoexcitation‐mediated assembly, forming hexagonal‐close‐packed structures at the air/solution interface.
