Polarization reconfigurable microstrip patch antenna with complementary split ring resonator (CSRR)

2012 Asia Pacific Microwave Conference Proceedings, 2012
A polarization reconfigurable microstrip patch antenna with a complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) is proposed. The proposed antenna consists of a CSRR and a p-i-n diode on the patch for switchable polarization. The proposed antenna has dual polarization: linear polarization (LP) and right-handed circular polarization (RHCP).

Modeling Split-Ring Resonator (SRR) and Complementary Split-Ring Resonator (CSRR) Loaded Transmission Lines Exhibiting Cross-Polarization Effects

IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2013
The purpose of this letter is to understand and model the electromagnetic properties of transmission lines loaded with split-ring resonators (SRRs) and complementary split-ring resonators (CSRRs) arbitrarily oriented. It is shown that if the slits of these resonators are aligned in a nonorthogonal direction to the line axis, cross-polarization effects ...

Effects of Complementary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR) parameters in microstrip patch antenna characteristics

2015 SBMO/IEEE MTT-S International Microwave and Optoelectronics Conference (IMOC), 2015
This paper has the objective of study the insertion of a Complementary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR) in the ground plane of a microstrip patch antenna. The return loss, radiation diagram and magnetic field are evaluated according to the variations performed in CSRR's dimension.

Step Impedance Resonator (SIR) Loaded with Complementary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR): Modeling, Analysis and Applications

2020 IEEE/MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS), 2020
A novel resonant element that combines a step impedance resonator (SIR) and a complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) is presented in this paper. The specific topology consists of a shunt connected SIR (also known as step impedance shunt stub) in microstrip technology, with a CSRR etched in the ground plane, beneath the SIR capacitive patch. A lumped

An Extended Doublet Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) Bandpass Filter With a Complementary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR)

IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2009
An ldquoextended doubletrdquo bandpass filter (BPF) is proposed using a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity with a complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) etched on its top metal plane. Thus, a single-layer BPF with two transmission zeros is realized successfully, with no additional area or layers occupied.
