Design of Interdigital‐Coupled Microstrip Line Bandpass Filters in the 28 and 38 GHz

open access: yesInternational Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This paper presents a 28‐ and 38‐GHz bandpass filter for 5G communication systems, which is implemented in an interdigital‐coupling microstrip line structure on a Rogers RT5880 substrate. The main resonator is composed of two U‐shaped units loaded with short cutoffs and stepped impedance stubs connected at the bottom of the U‐shaped structure.

Analytical characterization of antennas loaded with finite-grounded complementary split ring resonator

open access: yes, 2019
The Complimentary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR) is now popular in microwave devices. However, the analytical interpretations of its resonance frequencies, especially that with finite grounds, remains elusive. We demonstrate in this letter a novel method of

Highly Sensitive Glucose Sensors Based on Gated Graphene Microwave Waveguides

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, Volume 3, Issue 12, December 2024.
This study demonstrates a novel approach for glucose detection based on graphene microwave waveguides. By combining the frequency‐dependent interaction with microwaves and changes in graphene conductivity due to physisorbed molecules, the sensor achieves a sensitivity of 7.30 dB (mg/L)–1 and produces multidimensional datasets.

Design and analysis of a complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) metamaterial based antenna for wideband application

open access: yesScience and Engineering of Composite Materials, 2015
Abstract In this article, a compact complementary split ring resonator (CSRR) based double-negative (DNG) metamaterial antenna is presented for wideband (4.49 GHz–21.85 GHz) wireless application. The antenna is incorporated with a DNG metamaterial patch: 50Ω microstrip feed line and partial ground plane.

High Space‐Bandwidth‐Product (SBP) Hologram Carriers Toward Photorealistic 3D Holography

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 18, Issue 7, July 2024.
In a classic hologram device, the hologram carrier directly determines the display capability and the design of the high space‐bandwidth‐product (SBP) of optical systems. Here, a fundamental progress report of the main hologram carriers (SLM and metasurface), which are widely utilized in holographic displays and holography systems to achieve high SBP ...
