Morphosyntax of movement dependencies in Haitian Creole
In Haitian Creole the lexical item ki shows up when a subject (but not an object) undergoes operator movement in wh‐questions, clefts, and relative clauses. We argue that ki is a phonological reflex of agreement between the complementizer and a wh‐phrase.

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Proximity Loses: Real-Time Resolution of Ambiguous Wh-Questions in Japanese
This study investigated how Japanese speakers interpret structurally ambiguous wh-questions, testing whether filler–gap resolution is guided by syntactic resolution based on hierarchical structure or linear locality based on surface word order.

The syntax of small clause predication
In this paper I put forward and justify a syntactic configuration that I call Complex Small Clause-structure. I show that this single syntactic structure can explain both the semantic value and the syntactic behavior of a range of constructions that up ...

A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial

[+wh] complementizers drive phonological phrasing in Fukuoka Japanese [PDF]
Evidence from the intonation of wh questions in the Fukuoka dialect of Japanese is used to explore a recent proposal by Richards that the syntax-prosody interface includes a requirement for wh elements and their associated complementizers to be contained in the same phonological phrase.

Taiwanese complementizer kóng, sentence-final particles, and the final-over-final condition
Recent research (Paul 2014, Erlewine 2017) has found Mandarin sentence-final particles (SFPs) to be C heads, as per Rizzi (1997). This apparently violates the proposed universal Final-over-Final Condition (FOFC; Sheehan et. al. 2017), which prohibits the

Word, Phrase, And Clitic Prosody In Bosnian, Serbian, And Croatian
I investigate the phonology of prosodic clitics--independent syntactic words not parsed as independent prosodic words--in Bosnian, Serbian, and Croatian. I ask, first, how clitics are organized into prosodic structures, and second, how this is determined
