Remarks on r-planes in Complete Intersections [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
application/pdfapplication/pdf論文(Article)This paper investigates the families of smooth complete intersections containing r-planes in projective spaces. We are going in a primitive way to shed some light on a point and an r-plane containing the point in ...

On binomial complete intersections [PDF]

open access: yes
We consider homogeneous binomial ideals I=(f1,…,fn) in K[x1,…,xn], where fi=aixid−bimi and ai≠0. When such an ideal is a complete intersection, we show that the monomials which are not divisible by xid for i=1,…,n form a vector space basis for the ...

Complete intersections in binomial and lattice ideals [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
For the family of graded lattice ideals of dimension 1, we establish a complete intersection criterion in algebraic and geometric terms. In positive characteristic, it is shown that all ideals of this family are binomial set theoretic complete ...

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Trilateration-Inspired Sensor Node Position Estimation for UAV-Assisted Microwave Wireless Power Transfer

open access: yesSICE Journal of Control, Measurement, and System Integration, 2017
Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assisted microwave wireless power transfer (WPT) enables the deployment of radio frequency (RF)-power-driven, battery-less sensor nodes in rural areas such as farm fields.

Microstructural Evolution and Vacancy Defect Formation in Mn–Mo–Ni RPV Steel Under Low Cycle Fatigue: Insights From EBSD and PALS

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

Uniformity of Vector Bundles of Finite Rank on Complete Intersections of Finite Codimension in a Linear ind-Grassmannian

open access: yesМоделирование и анализ информационных систем, 2015
A linear projective ind-variety X is called 1-connected if any two points on it can be connected by a chain of lines l1, l2, ..., lk in X, such that li intersects li+1.

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.
