Blowout Risk Analysis of Gas-Lift Completions
SPE Production Engineering, 1992Summary A dynamic risk analysis was performed on four different gas-lift completions using a computer simulator. Results are presented to allow comparison of the designs in terms of blowout risk and minor leakage during production and to provide insight into the effect of critical components and operations on the overall well safety.

A Spoolable Coiled-Tubing Gas-Lift Completion System
Proceedings of SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition, 1993ABSTRACT BP Exploration and Nowcam Services have re-completed a well in the Western Operating Area (WOA) of the Prudhoe Bay Unit with a spoolable coiled tubing gas lifted completion. This completion is unique in that gas lift valves are inside the coiled tubing.

Soundness and completeness versus lifting property
1996We give new formulations of the property of soundness and completeness of a resolution system and of the lifting lemma, and we discuss their relationship.

A complete model for oxidation air-lift reactors
Computers & Chemical Engineering, 2001Abstract A complete model for prediction performance of an oxidation air-lift reactor has been developed. The model includes reaction kinetics, flow configuration, mass transfer and hydrodynamics. Liquid bulk and gas phases are modeled using a cell model. The mass transfer rates are computed from the film model.

Dual Gas Lift in Wells With Downhole Water Sink Completion
Canadian International Petroleum Conference, 2002Abstract Downhole Water Sink (DWS) technology controls water coning in dual-completed wells by concurrently producing water from the bottom completion - below the oil-water contact, and oil from another completion at the top of the oil sand.

Completion of the Claymore Gas-Lift Optimisation Project
Proceedings of European Petroleum Conference, 1984Abstract This is a case history of an innovative process, thatof a gas lift optimisation supervisory system, currently in operation on Occidental's Claymore Platform. It describes the initial arrangement on Claymore, showing why and how the system came into being, what it consists of by way of hardware, and how the ...

Complete lifts of derivations to tensor bundles
2002The authors study the complete lifts of derivations on an \(n\)-dimensional differentiable manifold \(M\) of class \(C^\infty\), and consider some geometric applications of the tangent bundle. Contents include: an introduction; vertical lifts of tensor fields and the \(\gamma\)-operator; complete lifts of derivations and \(\gamma\)-operator; complete ...

Complete lifts of projectable linear connection to semi-tangent bundle
2019Summary: We study the complete lifts of projectable linear connection for semi-tangent bundle. The aim of this study is to establish relations between these and complete lift already known. In addition, the relations between infinitesimal linear transformations and projectable linear connections are studied.
