Complete convergence of weighted sums for arrays of rowwise $\varphi $-mixing random variables

open access: yes, 2014
summary:In this paper, we establish the complete convergence and complete moment convergence of weighted sums for arrays of rowwise $\varphi $-mixing random variables, and the Baum-Katz-type result for arrays of rowwise $\varphi $-mixing random variables.

Complete Convergence for Weighted Sums of Sequences of Negatively Dependent Random Variables

open access: yesJournal of Probability and Statistics, 2011
Applying to the moment inequality of negatively dependent random variables the complete convergence for weighted sums of sequences of negatively dependent random variables is discussed.

Nonthermal Plasma Reduction of Nickel Oxide Layers by Atmospheric Pressure Dielectric Barrier Discharge in Argon/Hydrogen

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores the reduction of nickel oxide layers using dielectric barrier discharge plasma in an argon–hydrogen atmosphere. The results reveal a strong temperature dependence, enabling complete reduction of thick oxide layers at 200°C within seconds.

Complete convergence in mean for double arrays of random variables with values in Banach spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
summary:The rate of moment convergence of sample sums was investigated by Chow (1988) (in case of real-valued random variables). In 2006, Rosalsky et al.

Second-Order Moment Convergence Rates for Spectral Statistics of Random Matrices

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
This paper considers the precise asymptotics of the spectral statistics of random matrices. Following the ideas of Gut and Spătaru (2000) and Liu and Lin (2006) on the precise asymptotics of i.i.d.

Field Report from Collaborative Research Center 1625: Heterogeneous Research Data Management Using Ontology Representations

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial

Complete moment convergence forweighted sums of extended negatively dependent random variables

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, the complete moment convergence for the weighted sums of extended negatively dependent (END, in short) random variables is investigated. Some general conditions to prove the complete moment convergence are provided.

A Simplified Laminar Flow Model for the Pultrusion of Glass Fiber/Polyethylene Terephthalate Commingled Yarns

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

The rates in complete moment convergence for negatively associated sequences [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Let X1, X2,... be a strictly stationary and negatively associated sequence of random variables with mean zero and positive, finite variance, set Sn = X1+ ... + Xn, Mn = max1 < k < n |Sk|.
