Complete positivity of mapping valued linear maps
We consider the matrix order structure of ordered Banach space. This notion is an extended version of the order structure of a \(C^ *\)- algebra or a predual of von Neumann algebra induced by the cone of its positive elements. Corresponding to the case that the associated algebra is abelian, we introduce the notion, a matrix ordered Banach space of ...

From Rotations to Unitaries: Reversible Quantum Processes and the Emergence of the SU(2)−SO(3) Homomorphism [PDF]
We present an operational reconstruction of the well-known two-to-one homomorphism between the groups SU(2) and SO(3), grounded in the physical description of quantum state preparation and evolution.

Comparison of information structures and completely positive maps [PDF]
A theorem of Blackwell about comparison between information structures in classical statistics is given an analogue in the quantum probabilistic setup. The theorem provides an operational interpretation for trace-preserving completely positive maps, which are the natural quantum analogue of classical stochastic maps.

A survey on dilations of projective isometric representations [PDF]
In this paper we present Laca-Raeburn's dilation theory of projective isometric representations of a semigroup to projective isometric representations of a group [M.Laca and I.Raeburn, Proc. Amer. Math.

Bell–Clauser–Horne–Shimony–Holt Behavior Under Quantum Loss and Decoherence
We present a detailed analysis of the effect of quantum loss and decoherence in the Bell-CHSH scenario. Adopting a device-independent approach, we study the change in the bipartite conditional probability distribution, i.e., the behavior of the realized ...

This article shows sufficient conditions for the existence of mild solutions, on the positive half-line, for two classes of first-order functional and neutral functional perturbed differential evolution equations with infinite delay.

A new proof for monotonicity of sandwiched Renyi relative entropy
Itis well known that in quantum information quantum relative is monotonically decreasing under the completely positive and trace-preserving maps. For a new proposed sandwiched R\'enyi quantum relative, a map that is linear trace-preserving and whose ...

Gluing of completely positive maps
Gluings of completely positive maps (CPMs) are defined and investigated. As a brief description of this concept consider a pair of `evolution machines', each with the ability to evolve the internal state of a `particle' inserted into its input. Each of these machines is characterized by a channel describing the operation the internal state has ...

On The Integral Representation of Strictly Continuous Set-Valued Maps
Let T be a completely regular topological space and C(T) be the space of bounded, continuous real-valued functions on T. C(T) is endowed with the strict topology (the topology generated by seminorms determined by continuous functions vanishing at in_nity)
