Completeness of Information Sources [PDF]
Information quality plays a crucial role in every application that integrates data from autonomous sources. However, information quality is hard to measure and complex to consider for the tasks of information integration, even if the integrating ...

ABSTRACT Introduction This final analysis of a multicenter, prospective postmarketing surveillance study evaluated the safety of daprodustat in patients with chronic kidney disease anemia in routine clinical practice in Japan. Methods Patients who initiated daprodustat between September 2020 and July 2022 were registered.

In this work we consider the closure operator with the equality predicate branching (E-operator) on the set of hyperfunctions on two-element set. With respect to this operator closed classes of hyperfunctions are generated.

Quasi-completeness and functions without fixed-points [PDF]
We prove a completeness criterion for quasi-reducibility and generalize it to higher levels of the arithmetical hierarchy. As an application of the criterion we obtain Q-completeness of the set of all pairs (x, n) such that the prefix-free Kolmogorov ...

ABSTRACT Background Japan has one of the highest dialysis prevalence rates worldwide and a shrinking, aging population. Whether dialysis burden has entered a sustained post‐peak phase or whether recent declines partly reflect pandemic‐related disruptions remains uncertain.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Parametric Closed Classes of Hyperfunctions on Two-Element Set
One of the direction in discrete function's investigations is research of functional systems: the sets of functions and the sets of operators defined on this functions.

Background Several competency frameworks are being developed to support competency-based education (CBE). In medical education, extensive literature exists about validated competency frameworks for example, the CanMEDS competency framework.

On Landsberg's criterion for complete intersections [PDF]
In his preprint ``Differential-Geometric Characterizations of Complete Intersections'' (alg-geom/9407002), J.M.Landsberg introduces an elementary characterization of complete intersections. The proof of this criterion uses the method of moving frames. The aim of this note is to present an elementary proof of Landsberg's criterion that is valid over any

The Completeness criterion in atomic modeling [PDF]
The author discusses two variations on the completeness theme in atomic modeling: missing lines as they affect the performance of spectral synthesis codes, and missing configurations as they affect the theoretical emissivities of bright lines, with ...
