Soft and Adhesive Cardiac Patch for Electrophysiological and Contraction Measurement
This study developed an epicardial electronic patch with a modulus similar to that of the heart (approximately 65kPa), which can collect stable electrocardiogram signals and myocardial contractility on the surface of a dynamically beating heart. This is attributed to the hydrogen bond interaction formed between the amino and catechol groups in the ...

Synchronization‐Dissipation in the Cardiorespiratory System
By modeling central nervous coupling and viscoelastic interactions in the cardiorespiratory system we show that synchronization produces a 10% gain in cardiac efficiency in humans. It is surmised that respiratory sinus arrhythmia improves cardiac pumping efficiency by reducing dynamic stress and power dissipation in the pulmonary vasculature.

Schematic representation of the role of lipophagy in bone mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs). In healthy MSCs, functional lipophagy efficiently degrades lipid droplets to support oxidative phosphorylation and cellular energy production, thereby facilitating osteogenic differentiation and matrix mineralization.

The role of inflammation in cardiac arrhythmias pathophysiology
The pathophysiology of cardiac arrhythmias is highly complex. Inflammation causes electrophysiological changes that contribute to increased vulnerability of arrhythmias, a process known as electrical remodeling.

Biological rhythms coordinate physiology, from genes to behavior. Study of circadian rhythms in brain tissue is constrained by limited throughput and spatial and temporal information quality. A new platform for high‐throughput, long‐term multiplexed fluorescent live imaging of circadian rhythms in brain slices is introduced.

Ventricular arrhythmia in chronic kidney disease patients
Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) are susceptible to the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmias. The leading cause of death in dialysis patients is cardiac arrhythmias. The pathophysiology of arrhythmias in this population is complex and seems to
