Transportation strategy decision-making process using interval-valued complex fuzzy soft information
Transportation is among the more vital economic activities for a business and our daily life actions. At present, transport is one of the key branches playing a crucial role in the development of the economy. Transportation decision-making looks for ways

Parameterized Soft Complex Fuzzy Sets
In this paper, we presents a new concept of parameterized soft complex fuzzy set (pscf-set) which is generalized from the innovative concept of a complex fuzzy set by adding phase term to the definition of fuzzy set. Various operators with examples of pscf-set provided in this paper. We then define a pscf-set aggregation operator.

Objectives Sjögren's disease is an autoimmune disorder that can impact multiple organ systems, including the peripheral nervous system (PNS). PNS manifestations, which can exist concurrently, include mononeuropathies, polyneuropathies, and autonomic nervous system neuropathies. To help patients and providers in the decision‐making process, we developed

Evidential Communities for Complex Networks [PDF]
Community detection is of great importance for understand-ing graph structure in social networks. The communities in real-world networks are often overlapped, i.e. some nodes may be a member of multiple clusters.

Complex fuzzy sets: towards new foundations
Uncertainty of complex-valued physical quantities z=x+y can be described by complex fuzzy sets. Such sets can be described by membership functions /spl mu/(x, y) which map the universe of discourse (complex plane) into the interval [0, 1]. The problem with this description is that it is difficult to directly translate into words from natural language ...

Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.

(Quantum) Space-Time as a Statistical Geometry of Fuzzy Lumps and the Connection with Random Metric Spaces [PDF]
We develop a kind of pregeometry consisting of a web of overlapping fuzzy lumps which interact with each other. The individual lumps are understood as certain closely entangled subgraphs (cliques) in a dynamically evolving network which, in a certain ...

Rheocasting versus Die Casting: An Insight into the Low‐Cycle Fatigue Behavior of AlSi7Mg0.6
The study compares rheocast lightweight components with high‐pressure die cast materials regarding microstructure and fatigue behavior. Rheocast process offers higher efficiency due to lower casting temperatures. Despite some microstructural differences, both processes show similar strengths (yield strength 125 MPa, tensile strength 240 MPa).

Peak Alignment of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry Data with Deep Learning
We present ChromAlignNet, a deep learning model for alignment of peaks in Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) data. In GC-MS data, a compound's retention time (RT) may not stay fixed across multiple chromatograms. To use GC-MS data for biomarker
