Exact solutions for nonlinear fractional differential equations using G′G2-expansion method
A relatively new technique which is named as G′G2-expansion method is applied to attain exact solution of nonlinear fractional differential equations (NLFDEs).

Lagrangian submanifolds of the complex hyperbolic space
In a previous paper [Arch. Math. 67, 519-528 (1996; Zbl 0871.53043)] the first author proved, for each immersed submanifold \(M\) of complex hyperbolic space, a basic inequality for the function \(\delta_M\) which assigns to each point on \(M\) the difference between the scalar curvature and the infimum over all sectional curvatures at that point.

The Status of Cosmic Topology after Planck Data
In the last decade, the study of the overall shape of the universe, called Cosmic Topology, has become testable by astronomical observations, especially the data from the Cosmic Microwave Background (hereafter CMB) obtained by WMAP and Planck telescopes.

Ultra‐Thin Soft Pneumatic Actuation for Minimally Invasive Neural Interfacing
Parylene C is a common polymer in bioelectronics, favored for its biological and chemical inertness. However, this makes bonding layers of Parylene C together very challenging. Here it is a laser to selectively weld layers of Parylene C to create high‐pressure fluidic actuation devices.

Margaret Wertheim: Complexity, Evolution and Hyperbolic Space [PDF]
Margaret Wertheim earned degrees in physics and mathematics in her homeland, Australia, before becoming a prize-winning science journalist and author. She is the founder, with her twin sister, Christine, of the Institute For Figuring, a new kind of “feral science” organization located in Los Angeles.

Space-Like Einstein Kähler Submanifolds in an Indefinite Complex Hyperbolic Space
An indefinite Kähler manifold is a complex manifold \(M\) with a Hermitian metric \(g\) of, necessarily, even signature \(0\leq 2s\leq 2n= \dim_{\mathbb{R}}M\) with closed associated \((1,1)\)-form. Such manifold is said to be of constant holomorphic sectional curvature \(C\) if for any nondegenerate holomorphic plane \(P\) at any point of \(M\) its ...

A hyperbolic Kac-Moody Calogero model
A new kind of quantum Calogero model is proposed, based on a hyperbolic Kac-Moody algebra. We formulate nonrelativistic quantum mechanics on the Minkowskian root space of the simplest rank-3 hyperbolic Lie algebra AE 3 with an inverse-square potential ...
