Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Comparison of scalar point multiplication algorithms in a low resource device
Since it was invented, Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) is considered an ideal choice for implementing public key cryptography in resource constrained devices, thanks to its small keys.

Diffusion‐based size determination of solute particles: a method adapted for postsynaptic proteins
We present a diffusion‐based approach for measuring the size of macromolecules and their complexes, and demonstrate its use on postsynaptic proteins. The method requires fluorescein‐labelled protein samples, a microfluidic device that maintains laminar flow for said samples, a microscope recording the emitted fluorescent signals, and an analytic ...

A NOVEL CONCEPT: THE PRODUCT OF TWO NEGATIVELY DIRECTED NUMBERS IS A NEGATIVELY DIRECTED NUMBER THOUGH THE NEGATIVE OF A NEGATIVE NUMBER IS A POSITIVE NUMBER [PDF]
In this paper, the author proved that the product of two negatively directed numbers is a negatively directed number. This article is the outcome of previously published (2021-2024) ten (10) articles of this author.

A general model for analysis of linear and hyperbolic enzyme inhibition mechanisms
We developed a general enzyme kinetic model that integrates these six basic inhibition mechanism onto a single one. From this model, we deduced a general enzyme kinetic equation that through modulation of simple parameters, γ (the relative inhibitor affinity for two binding sites) and β (the reactivity of the enzyme–substrate–inhibitor complex), is ...

THE ECONOMIC EFFECTIVENESS OF SEED PRODUCTION IN WINTER WHEAT
The plan is for production and multiplication of the institutionalized seed. The process of transition of agriculture towards the market economy generates new and complex problems regarding both seed production and the access of small and medium-sized ...

Optimization and FPGA implementation of RS coding algorithm
Aiming at the problems of large amount of computation and high complexity of multiplication of Galois Field(GF) in the common RS coding algorithm, the RS coding module is optimized and the multiplier factor is obtained.
