The complex permittivity of PEDOT:PSS
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2023High permittivity materials are required for efficient organic photovoltaic devices, and the addition of the conjugated polymer composite poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophen) polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) to dielectric polymers has been shown to significantly heighten their permittivity.

The paper is about the interpretation and separability of the effective permittivity in case that both the permittivity and the conductivity are dispersive and thus complex-valued. It is shown that: a) it is always possible to retrieve the static conductivity and the high-frequency (optical) permittivity from the effective permittivity; b) it is in ...

Parametric modelling of complex permittivity and permeability
1996 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2002This paper proposes a new method for measuring the complex permittivity and permeability of materials at microwave frequencies. Starting from reflection/transmission measurements, a parametric model of /spl epsi/ and /spl mu/ is determined using a maximum likelihood estimator.

Simple Nondestructive Method for the Measurement of Complex Permittivity
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 1974A simple nondestructive method is presented for the measurement of the complex permittivity ?r of materials. The reflection coefficient ? of a flanged open-ended rectangular waveguide placed, next to a flat large sample is computed by a variational method as a function of the dielectric constant.

Extraction of the Complex Permittivity of PCB
2020 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Workshop Series on Advanced Materials and Processes for RF and THz Applications (IMWS-AMP), 2020With the increase of the system working frequency, there is a great demand for the signal integrity of PCB (Printed Circuit Board). There are various types of PCB substrates on the market. These substrates show different electrical properties and uncertainty, due to the differences in composition.

Complex Permittivity Studies of Polyaniline
MRS Proceedings, 1992ABSTRACTA study of the complex dielectric properties at microwave and millimeterwave frequencies on several polyanilines was performed. The polymers investigated were based on emeraldine salts. The chemically synthesized emeraldine base was protonated with acids of various pH levels.

A spectrometer for the measurement of complex permittivity
Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments, 1972The spectrometer uses an unbalanced AC bridge and records the real or imaginary component of permittivity on a chart recorder over the frequency range from about 1 Hz to 1 MHz. The measured sensitivity extends to values of loss tangent of about 10-3 although the ultimate sensitivity is expected to be higher.
