Complex Singularities and the Lorenz Attractor [PDF]
The Lorenz attractor is one of the best known examples of applied mathematics. However, much of what is known about it is a result of numerical calculations and not of mathematical analysis. As a step toward mathematical analysis, we allow the time variable in the three dimensional Lorenz system to be complex, hoping that solutions that have resisted ...

The goal of this article is to provide a construction and classification, in the case of two complex dimensions, of the possible tangent cones at points of limit spaces of non-collapsed sequences of Kähler-Einstein metrics with cone singularities.

Rigorous reconstruction of gluon propagator in the presence of complex singularities
It has been suggested that the Landau-gauge gluon propagator has complex singularities, which invalidates the K\"all\'en-Lehmann spectral representation.

ON COMPLEX HOMOGENEOUS SINGULARITIES [PDF]
We study the singularity at the origin of $\mathbb{C}^{n+1}$ of an arbitrary homogeneous polynomial in $n+1$ variables with complex coefficients, by investigating the monodromy characteristic polynomials $\unicode[STIX]{x1D6E5}_{l}(t)$ as well as the relation between the monodromy zeta function and the Hodge spectrum of the singularity.

Complexity=anything: singularity probes
Abstract We investigate how the complexity=anything observables proposed by [1, 2] can be used to investigate the interior geometry of AdS black holes. In particular, we illustrate how the flexibility of the complexity=anything approach allows us to systematically probe the geometric properties of black hole singularities.

Singular Value Decomposition of Complexes [PDF]
Singular value decompositions of matrices are widely used in numerical linear algebra with many applications. In this paper, we extend the notion of singular value decompositions to finite complexes of real vector spaces. We provide two methods to compute them and present several applications.
