Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Meromorphic Function of Fuzzy Complex Variables

open access: yesJournal of New Theory, 2018
The fuzzy complex set is a fuzzy set whose values lies in the unit circle jzj · 1 in the complex plane. The Nevanlinna characteristic function playes an important role in the theory of entire and meromorphic function. In this paper we introduce

Growth analysis of entire functions of two complex variables [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2016
In this paper, we introduce the idea of generalized relative order (respectively generalized relative lower order) of entire functions of two complex variables.

A Note on Strongly Starlike Mappings in Several Complex Variables

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
Let f be a normalized biholomorphic mapping on the Euclidean unit ball 𝔹n in ℂn and let α∈0,1. In this paper, we will show that if f is strongly starlike of order α in the sense of Liczberski and Starkov, then it is also strongly starlike of order α in ...

Representation of logarithm of entire function in several complex variables

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2013
The integral representation of some branch of an entire on $\mathbb{C}^n$ function which generalized the Poisson-Jensen-Stoll Formula is obtained.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Reconstructing dynamics of complex systems from noisy time series with hidden variables

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2023
Reconstructing the equation of motion and thus the network topology of a system from time series is a very important problem. Although many powerful methods have been developed, it remains a great challenge to deal with systems in high dimensions with ...

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.
