We formulate a general Kuramoto model on weighted simplicial complexes where phases oscillators are supported on simplices of any order $k$. Crucially, we introduce linear and non-linear frustration terms that are independent of the orientation of the $k+1$ simplices, providing a natural generalization of the Sakaguchi-Kuramoto model.

On a hierarchy of Booleanfunctions hard to compute in constant depth [PDF]
Any attempt to find connections between mathematical properties and complexity has a strong relevance to the field of Complexity Theory. This is due to the lack of mathematical techniques to prove lower bounds for general models of computation. This

Elementary school students’ mathematical connection in problem-posing activities
The ability of mathematical connections possessed by students can be seen from the ability of students to compile math problems. This study aims to determine the type of mathematical connection made by elementary school students in problem-posing ...

Nonlinear Analysis of Rotational Springs to Model Semi-Rigid Frames
This paper explains the mathematical foundations of a method for modelling semi-rigid unions. The unions are modelled using rotational rather than linear springs.

Optimizing information processing in brain-inspired neural networks [PDF]
The way brain networks maintain high transmission efficiency is believed to be fundamental in understanding brain activity. Brains consisting of more cells render information transmission more reliable and robust to noise.
