Thermomechanical fatigue tests of laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB) Inconel 718 show that the additively manufactured material reaches almost the lifetimes of conventionally‐rolled material under no‐dwell conditions. Introducing dwell times at the maximum temperature markedly reduces the lifetimes due to pronounced grain boundary sliding associated

Interfacial fracture toughness of composite concrete beams [PDF]
A test for measuring the interfacial fracture toughness of a bi-material interface, essentially for concrete overlaid pavements was developed. The measured interfacial fracture toughness of steel fibre-reinforced, roller-compacted, polymer modified ...

The presented study focuses on the fracture behaviour of carbon‐bonded magnesia MgO–C refractories, where environmentally friendly fructose, collagen and lignin serve as temporary binding agents. The partial substitution of the source material with recycled MgO–C reduces the fracture resistance, which can be counteracted by the additional introduction ...

Pengaruh Variasi Tebal Terhadap Kekuatan Lentur Pada Balok Komposit Menggunakan Response 2000
The tensile strength is one of disadvantage for the concrete beam. Therefore, the development of an innovation in the structural elements of the beam by using the composite material of steel and concrete is necessary.

Effect of Laser Deoxidation on Adhesive‐Bonded Aluminum in an Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere
This study investigates laser ablation of aluminum under oxygen‐free conditions. The goal is to produce oxide‐free substrates that enable improved adhesive bonding with epoxy. Optimized laser parameters (90% overlap, 300 µJ) combined with oxide‐free substrates result in the highest tensile strength of the adhesive bond.

NON-LINEAR ANALYSIS OF CONTINUOUS COMPOSITE CONCRETE–STEEL BEAMS UNDER CYCLIC LOADINGS
Non-linear analysis of continuous composite concrete–steel beams under cyclic loadings has been investigated in this paper. A three-dimensional finite element analysis (FE) ANSYS computer program(ANSYS version 9.0) was conducted to investigate the ...
