Semiconductor-dispersed polymer electrolyte composites

Solid State Ionics, 2002
Composites of polyethylene oxide (PEO)/NH4I polymer electrolyte dispersed with semiconductors PbS, CdS and PbxCd1 xS in different weight ratios have been prepared and characterised. Relevant amount of Pb and/or Cd acetates were added to a viscous solution of polymer PEO/NH4I complex.

Tailoring Electrolyte Composition for LiBOB

Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 2008
Realizing that organic carbonates might not be the optimum solvents for lithium bis(oxalato)borate (LiBOB), efforts were made to tailor a "dedicated" electrolyte composition for this new salt. It was discovered that lactone-based cosolvents can effectively dissolve LiBOB up to high concentrations, and the electrolytes thus formulated generate high ...

Polymer-Mineral Composite Solid Electrolytes

MRS Advances, 2019
Polymer-mineral composite solid electrolytes have been prepared by hot pressing using lithium ion-exchanged bentonite (LIEB) and mineral derived LATSP (Li1.2Al0.1Ti1.9Si0.1P2.9O12) NASICON materials as solid electrolyte fillers in the polyethylene oxide (PEO) polymer containing LiTFSI salt.

Composite Materials as Solid Electrolytes

1985
According to classical theories, when an insulator is added to an electrical conductor, the conductivity of the two phase composite decreases. However, in many cases when the particle size is small, of the order of a micron, the electrical conductivity increases. C. Liang [1] was the first to report this phenomenon for a solid electrolyte.
