Manufacturing Errors of Thermostable Composite Panels

1991
Problems of influence of manufacturing errors on thermomechanical properties of a composite laminate have been produced. Also in this paper preliminary stretching of fibers for shape distortions of thermostable epoxy-carbon in manufacturing and operation have been analyzed.

Qualitative errors in laminated composite plate models

International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 1994
AbstractThe presence of ‘qualitative’ errors, i.e. errors that misrepresent the sign or direction of deformation in a problem, is identified in laminated composite plate elements. The errors are found to be due to the presence of parasitic shear terms introduced when an element is formed using incompatible polynomials.

A comparison of several approaches for controlling measurement error in small samples.

Psychological methods, 2019
It is well known that methods that fail to account for measurement error in observed variables, such as regression and path analysis (PA), can result in poor estimates and incorrect inference. On the other hand, methods that fully account for measurement

Native Speaker Evaluation of Student Composition Errors

The Modern Language Journal, 1981
ond-language teachers have to deal continuously is that of student language errors. Their prevalence is undeniable, and teachers have generally been unsuccessful in altering the situation whether they have sought to eliminate them by teaching grammar rules, by drilling new linguistic habits, by constant correction, or by threatening references to pop ...

Composite Bound on Arrival Time Estimation Errors

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 1986
Time of arrival (TOA) estimation of narrowband signals is a problem of considerable practical interest in radar and sonar applications. A new technique is presented to analyze the mean square error (MSE) performance of TOA estimation schemes, based on recently developed lower bound.

Collocation Errors In Indonesian Efl Learners’ Composition

Journal of English Language Learning, 2021
Collocation errors are often made by Indonesian EFL learners in essays. The error, which is part of learning process, stems from inter and intra language. The study aims to identify and quantify the collocation error in students’ composition. The data were 20 argumentative essays collected from students’ final paper work of universitas Bina Sarana ...

A Survey of Errors in English Compositions

The Journal of Educational Research, 1963
WHAT KINDS of errors do eleventh-grade stu dents make in writing? Do the students make fewer of these errors after study and as the year progress es? What are the implications of the answers to these questions for the teacher of English? This study i s based on the writing of one eleventh grade English class during 1958-59 (referred to in this study as
