Color stability of conventional and bulk fill composite resins

open access: yesRGO: Revista Gaúcha de Odontologia, 2018
Objective: This study compared the color stability of different dental composite resins after prolonged exposure to a coffee solution. Methods: Sixty-four cylindrical discs (10 mm diameter x 2 mm thickness) were prepared using 8 different dental ...

Rheological, processing, and 371 deg C mechanical properties of Celion 6000/N-phenylnadimide modified PMR composites [PDF]

open access: yes, 1985
The rheology, processing, and chemistry of newly developed N-phenylnadimide modified PMR (PMR-PN) polyimide resins are reviewed. The 371 C performance of their composites reinforced with Celion 6000 graphite fibers is also reviewed, along with the state ...

Distribution and Excretion of TEGDMA in Guinea Pigs and Mice [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The monomer triethyleneglycoldimethacrylate (TEGDMA) is used as a diluent in many resin-based dental materials. It was previously shown in vitro that TEGDMA was released into the adjacent biophase from such materials during the first days after placement.

Color Stability of the Bulk-Fill Composite Resins with Different Thickness in Response to Coffee/Water Immersion

open access: yesInternational Journal of Dentistry, 2016
We aimed to evaluate the color stability of bulk-fill and conventional composite resin with respect to thickness and storage media. Twenty specimens of a conventional composite resin (6 mm diameter and 2 mm thick) and 40 specimens of the bulk-fill Tetric

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...

In vitro attrition wear resistance of four types of paste-like bulk-fill composite resins

open access: yesBMC Oral Health, 2022
Background Recently, the application of bulk-fill composite resins has increased significantly. Attrition wear and the consequently increased surface roughness of composite resins are among the causes of restoration failure in the posterior teeth.

The combined effect of food-simulating solutions, brushing and staining on color stability of composite resins

open access: yesActa Biomaterialia Odontologica Scandinavica, 2017
Objective: This study evaluated the effect of food-simulating media associated with brushing and coffee staining on color stability of different composite resins. Materials and methods: Eighty specimens were prepared for each composite: Grandio SO (Voco),

Unveiling unique protein and phosphorylation signatures in lung adenocarcinomas with and without ALK, EGFR, and KRAS genetic alterations

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Proteomic and phosphoproteomic analyses were performed on lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) tumors with EGFR, KRAS, or EML4–ALK alterations and wild‐type cases. Distinct protein expression and phosphorylation patterns were identified, especially in EGFR‐mutated tumors. Key altered pathways included vesicle transport and RNA splicing.

Relative biocompatibility of micro-hybrid and nano-hybrid light-activated composite resins [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Dental Research, Dental Clinics, Dental Prospects, 2017
Background. In vitro studies have revealed a direct association between resin content and cytotoxicity of composite re-sins; however, implantation studies in this regard are sparse.
