Analysis of Double Skin Composite Slabs

This paper deals with finite element modeling of the ultimate load behavior of double skin composite (DSC) slabs. In a DSC slab, shear connectors in the form of nut bolt technique studs are used to transfer shear between the outer skin made of steel plates and the concrete core.

Overcoming Printing and Interfacial Challenges in Liquid Metal Direct Writing for Integrated Stretchable Electronics

Liquid metal direct writing is advanced from a technological and fundamental point. Utilizing a kinematic bed, printing on large surfaces with irregularities is enabled. Furthermore, a pressure‐driven flow during printing is discovered that affects the thickness of traces.

Additive Manufacturing of Patient‐Specific Intracranial Aneurysm Cell Culture Models

Patient‐specific intracranial aneurysm models were fabricated using chocolate moulding, 3D printed water‐soluble cores, and direct resin 3D printing. Moulding PDMS around sacrificial cores made of chocolate or 3D printed water‐soluble resin yielded accurate, expandable, and endothelializable models that outperformed resin‐based approaches.
