Coloured spin-1 states in composite Higgs models
Strong dynamics for composite Higgs models predict spin-1 resonances which are expected to be in the same mass range as the usually considered top-partners.

Multicolor compositions and conjugation of N-color compositions
We introduce $n$-multicolor compositions which generalize the $n$-color compositions that Agarwal first defined twenty-two years ago. A summand may bear a set of many integer-valued colors which it bounds from above. We enumerate such multicolored compositions using generating functions. Then we isolate the conjugable class of multicolored compositions

Associations of Sleep and Shift Work With Osteoarthritis Risk
Objective Daily rhythms may be critical for maintaining homeostasis of joint tissues. We aimed to investigate the relationships among circadian clock disruption, sleep, and osteoarthritis (OA) risk in humans. Methods In the UK Biobank, a prospective 500,000–person cohort, we evaluated associations among sleep duration, sleeplessness/insomnia, and shift

Heavy vector-like quarks decaying to exotic scalars: a case study with triplets
We investigate the pair production of a vector-like quark triplet with hypercharge 5/3 decaying into top quark and a complex scalar triplet with hypercharge 1 at the LHC.

Objective Frailty occurs prematurely in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and is associated with poor health outcomes. We compared the performance of four frailty instruments, including a pragmatic alternative measure using chair sit‐to‐stand (STS), and evaluated their abilities to predict poor health outcomes.

The compositeness and the role of the interaction range [PDF]
A new approach is discussed on how to obtain information on the compositeness of molecular states from combined information of the scattering length of the hadronic components, the effective range, and the binding energy, in which the range of the ...

Composite 2-Higgs doublet model: strong effects on Higgs pair production
We show how effects of compositeness emerging in a Composite 2-Higgs Doublet Model can enter Standard Model (SM)-like Higgs boson pair production at the Large Hadron Collider in both resonant and non-resonant mode.

Objective We examined whether 18 months of strength training in individuals with knee varus alignment and medial tibiofemoral osteoarthritis (OA) reduced knee joint loads during walking compared to an attention control group. Methods This study was a secondary analysis of a randomized clinical trial that compared the effects of strength training to a ...

Objective This study aimed to investigate potential moderators influencing the effects of manual therapy and exercise therapy on pain and functional outcomes in individuals with knee and/or hip osteoarthritis, using data from the MOA trial. This is a secondary analysis of data from the MOA trial that compares the clinical effectiveness of manual ...
