Compound specific isotope analysis of organophosphorus pesticides

Chemosphere, 2014
Compound-specific isotope analysis (CSIA) has been established as a tool to study the environmental fate of a wide range of contaminants. In this study, CSIA was developed to analyse the stable carbon isotope signatures of the widely used organophosphorus pesticides: dichlorvos, omethoate and dimethoate. The linearity of the GC-C-IRMS system was tested

Condensed-Phase Carbon Isotopic Standards for Compound-Specific Isotope Analysis

Analytical Chemistry, 1994
A protocol has been developed for the preparation of isotopically characterized internal standards for compound-specific isotope analysis. Fatty acids and their corresponding methyl esters are loaded into flame seal vials by a protocol carefully designed to minimize isotopic fractionation and contamination.
