Exocentricity in Compounding

2009
The identification of a compound as endocentric or exocentric depends on the notion of head: if a compound has a head (or two) it is called endocentric, if it has no head is called exocentric. Exocentricity, however, has been usually assumed as a unitary notion, exactly because the notion of head has been generally interpreted as a unitary notion.

Basics of Compounding: Compounding Microemulsions.

International journal of pharmaceutical compounding, 2018
Microemulsions offer an innovative approach applicable to pharmaceutical compounding for increasing solubility, permeability, and bioavailability of some drug substances. They can also enhance stability, both chemical and physical, and be prepared as either oil in water or water in oil systems.
