Lithium Intercalation in the Anisotropic Van Der Waals Semiconductor CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report the lithium intercalation in the layered van der Waals crystal CrSBr, revealing strongly anisotropic ion‐migration dynamics. Optical and electrical characterization of exfoliated CrSBr shows lithium diffusion coefficients that differ by more than an order of magnitude along a‐ and b‐directions, consistent with molecular dynamics simulations ...

When Migrant Remittances Are Not Everlasting, How Can Morocco Make Up? [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper, I run a computable general equilibrium (CGE) model of the Moroccan economy to investigate the transmission channels through which remittances affect households and sectors.

Rational Design of Printable Carbon Nanotube Transparent Conductive Films via Data‐Driven and Mechanistic Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A machine learning and simulation‐guided strategy is demonstrated for gentle, non‐sonication dispersion of carbon nanotubes, preserving structural integrity and performance. This approach enables transparent conductive films with low sheet resistance, high transmittance, and sub‐20 µm printability.

Stone–Geary meets CES: the properties of an extended linear expenditure system

open access: yesJournal of Economic Structures
The structure of demand plays a fundamental role in shaping economic equilibrium. In computable general equilibrium analysis, comparative statics allow us to simulate how policies or external adjustments impact the equilibrium state. The results of these

The Effectiveness of Export Promotion Policies in a General Equilibrium Framework: The Case of the Philippines [PDF]

open access: yes
This study examines the general equilibrium effects of different export promotion policies on imports and production of importables and exportables. Unlike other studies, land as a factor input in the production function has been included.

Enhancing Synaptic Plasticity and Multistate Retention of Organic Neuromorphic Devices Using Anion‐Excessive Gel Electrolyte

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Anion‐excessive gel‐based organic synaptic transistors (AEG‐OSTs) that can maintain electrical neutrality are developed to enhance synaptic plasticity and multistate retention. Key improvement is attributed to the maintenance of electrical neutrality in the electrolyte even after electrochemical doping, which reduces the Coulombic force acting on ...

Computable General Equilibrium Modeling - Numerical Simulations in a 2-Country Monetary General Equilibrium Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
This paper presents the concept of numerical CGE modeling with the help of a 2-country general equilibrium model. In the framework of this simple dynamic monetary model the effects of a (unilateral) monetary and fiscal expansion are simulated. The exchange rate of the home vis-à-vis the foreign currency depreciates in response to both types of shocks ...

Energy Biased Technical Change: A CGE Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper studies energy bias in technical change. For this purpose, we develop a computable general equilibrium model that builds on endogenous growth models.
