Chemical formulae for computer input and output
Computers & Chemistry, 1978Abstract This paper discusses the input and output of chemical formulae by computer peripherals in an unambiguous form which corresponds as closely as possible to normal chemical notation. A special convention is described for chemical formulae presented on a single line for input and output by a teletype. Illustrations are given of chemical formulae

Formulas and Computations in Agriculture
2018This book aims to be a basic and fundamental book for the students and researchers in numerical solving. The book has been designed in a very simple language. Formulas have been presented in the most fundamental and basic calculations. The book has been divided into several chapters and broadly reflects the need of such subject selection as most of the

Embedded computing and Formula One racing
IEEE Pervasive Computing, 2005In countries around the globe, the high end of auto racing is epitomized by Formula One. F1 cars are marvels of high technology. Connected to an experimental transmission and placed in a body designed for its aerodynamic properties, F1's equipment requires constant innovation.

Fast computation of cubature formulae for the sphere
2017 Hands-free Speech Communications and Microphone Arrays (HSCMA), 2017The near-uniform distribution of nodes on the surface of a sphere has found many uses in numerical integration, physics, chemistry, crystallography, and more recently in the capture, representation and reproduction of spatial audio. A popular solution posed by Fliege and Meyer treats nodes as charged particles that are constrained to lie on the surface

Interpretation of organic chemical formulas by computer
Proceedings of the April 30--May 2, 1968, spring joint computer conference on - AFIPS '68 (Spring), 1968Over the last few years, a frequently discussed problem in the area of chemical information systems has been the need for some means by which chemists could communicate with the system in terms of their normal chemical language, the structural formula, rather than requiring them to use special, machine-oriented notations.
