Computer-assisted Medical Decision-making System for Diagnosis of Urticaria
Background: Urticaria is a common allergic disease that affects all age groups. Allergic disorders are diagnosed at allergy testing centers using skin tests. Though skin tests are the gold standard tests for allergy diagnosis, specialists are required to

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with ovarian cancer often present with massive ascites, leading to significant protein loss during surgical procedures. Although cell‐free concentrated ascites reinfusion therapy (CART) is used in palliative settings to mitigate protein loss, its application in intraoperative settings remains unexplored.

Easy Diagnosis of Asthma: Computer-Assisted, Symptom-Based Diagnosis [PDF]
Diagnosis of asthma is often challenging in primary-care physicians due to lack of tools measuring airway obstruction and variability. Symptom-based diagnosis of asthma utilizing objective diagnostic parameters and appropriate software would be useful in clinical practice.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.
