Random phase-free kinoform for large objects
We propose a random phase-free kinoform for large objects. When not using the random phase in kinoform calculation, the reconstructed images from the kinoform are heavy degraded, like edge-only preserved images. In addition, the kinoform cannot record an

This work presents a study of how 4D‐STEM centre of mass measurements and STEM‐EBIC can be used to map the positions, directions, and strengths of electric fields in semiconductor devices. The contrast mechanisms of both techniques are tested and compared with simulations to build a robust analysis of an in situ device in the electron microscope ...

A General and Efficient Framework for the Rapid Design of Miniaturized, Wideband, and High‐Bit RIS
A general and efficient framework is proposed for the rapid design of high‐performance reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs). This framework integrates advanced antenna design techniques and incorporates various load types, quantities, and values to achieve the design of high‐performance RISs.

Advancing Energy Materials by In Situ Atomic Scale Methods
Progress in in situ atomic scale methods leads to an improved understanding of new and advanced energy materials, where a local understanding of complex, inhomogeneous systems or interfaces down to the atomic scale and quantum level is required. Topics from photovoltaics, dissipation losses, phase transitions, and chemical energy conversion are ...

High resolution electron holography was used to image the projected electric potential of ordered water layers at the interface to a platinum (111) electrode. The observed reorganization of the water layers upon applying external potentials suggests that the electric potential drop of the electric double layer is mainly carried by the polarization ...

Quantum Holographic Encoding in a Two-dimensional Electron Gas
The advent of bottom-up atomic manipulation heralded a new horizon for attainable information density, as it allowed a bit of information to be represented by a single atom.

Aqueous zinc‐ion batteries suffer from rapid decay under practical conditions due to bilateral Zn2+/Mn2+ ionic crosstalk, a system‐level failure mechanism. We develop a hierarchical fluorinated polymer separator that regulates ion fluxes and stabilizes both electrodes simultaneously. This strategy enables extended cycle life while maintaining capacity,

Quantitative phase maps of single cells recorded in flow cytometry modality feed a hierarchical architecture of machine learning models for the label‐free identification of subtypes of ovarian cancer. The employment of a priori clinical information improves the classification performance, thus emulating the clinical application of liquid biopsy during ...
