Molecular imaging predicts trastuzumab‐deruxtecan (T‐DXd) response in head and neck cancer xenograft models

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Trastuzumab‐deruxtecan, a HER2‐targeting antibody‐drug conjugate, shows promising antitumor activity in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma with low HER2 expression. In vitro and in vivo studies demonstrated dose‐dependent cell death and tumor growth reduction in low HER2‐expressing cell lines, which correlated with drug accumulation measured using a

Generation and Validation of Osseous Fracture Patterns by Forensic Analysis

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
This article presents a method for the generation of bone fracture patterns and their automatic validation through the use of forensic analysis. A tool has been designed that allows the generation of a fracture pattern interactively and guided by the ...

Genomics‐led approach to drug testing in models of undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
GA text Genomic data from undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma patients and preclinical models were used to inform a targeted drug screen. Selected compounds were tested in 2D and 3D cultures of UPS cell lines. A combination of trametinib and infigratinib was synergistic in the majority of UPS cell lines tested, which was further confirmed in an ex ...

Airborne Optical Sectioning

open access: yesJournal of Imaging, 2018
Drones are becoming increasingly popular for remote sensing of landscapes in archeology, cultural heritage, forestry, and other disciplines. They are more efficient than airplanes for capturing small areas, of up to several hundred square meters.

Simulation and Computer Graphics

open access: yesSIMULATION, 1972
In these four pages, this paper can be neither a complete introduction nor a complete survey of the role of computer graphics in simulation. However, these examples drawn from the experience of the Naval Post graduate School computer laboratory will illustrate a wide class of applications which may suggest uses in other fields.

BMP antagonist CHRDL2 enhances the cancer stem‐cell phenotype and increases chemotherapy resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Overexpression of CHRDL2 in colon cancer cells makes them more stem‐like and resistant to chemo‐ and radiotherapy. CHRDL2‐high cells have upregulation of the WNT pathway, genes involved in the DNA damage response (DDR) pathway and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT). This leads to quicker repair of damaged DNA and more cell migration.

Semantic 3D Reconstruction with Learning MVS and 2D Segmentation of Aerial Images

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Semantic modeling is a challenging task that has received widespread attention in recent years. With the help of mini Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), multi-view high-resolution aerial images of large-scale scenes can be conveniently collected.

Tumor clusters with divergent inflammation and human retroelement expression determine the clinical outcome of patients with serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Analysis of treatment‐naïve high‐grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC) and control tissues for ERVs, LINE‐1 (L1), inflammation, and immune checkpoints identified five clusters with diverse patient recurrence‐free survivals. An inflammation score was calculated and correlated with retroelement expression, where one novel cluster (Triple‐I) with high ...

The use of graphics in the design of the human-telerobot interface [PDF]

open access: yes
The Man-Systems Telerobotics Laboratory (MSTL) of NASA's Johnson Space Center employs computer graphics tools in their design and evaluation of the Flight Telerobotic Servicer (FTS) human/telerobot interface on the Shuttle and on the Space Station.
