Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Object Pose Estimation Using Edge Images Synthesized from Shape Information

open access: yesSensors, 2022
This paper presents a method for estimating the six Degrees of Freedom (6DoF) pose of texture-less objects from a monocular image by using edge information. The deep learning-based pose estimation method needs a large dataset containing pairs of an image

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Firefly Algorithm for Polynomial Bézier Surface Parameterization

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
A classical issue in many applied fields is to obtain an approximating surface to a given set of data points. This problem arises in Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), virtual reality, medical imaging, computer graphics, computer ...

Graphical Input Facilities for Computer Aided Control System Design

open access: yesIFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1983
Abstract The work to be described here presents a flexible graphical input facility allowing system descriptions in both block-diagram and signal-flow graph form to be readily input. Both single-input, single-output and multivariable system definitions of arbitrary structure are allowed, and various system properties between user nominated points in ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Geometric analysis of non-degenerate shifted-knots Bézier surfaces in Minkowski space.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
In this paper, we investigate the properties of timelike and spacelike shifted-knots Bézier surfaces in Minkowski space-[Formula: see text]. These surfaces are commonly used in mathematical models for surface formation in computer science for computer ...
