Molecular Characterization and Clinical Relevance of MGMT‐Silenced Pancreatic Cancer
Cancer Medicine, Volume 13, Issue 23, December 2024.O6‐methylguanine‐DNA methyltransferase (MGMT) silencing is a validated biomarker in glioblastoma but has not been deeply investigated in pancreatic cancer (PAC). We show that MGMT silencing occurs in a small but non‐negligible (~6% to 7%) subgroup of PAC patients, with a favorable prognostic impact.
