Isomerization of 2-methylpentane and ring opening of methylcyclopentane over PtCoNaY catalysts
Applied Catalysis A: General, 1997Abstract The catalytic transformations of 2-methylpentane (2MP), and methylcyclopentane (MCP), over Co NaY , PtCo NaY , PtCo Al 2 O 3 and NaY samples have been investigated. Co NaY was found to be an excellent isomerization catalyst, in contrast to Co Al 2 O 3 on which the main route was ...

The applicability of the u.v.–vis.–n.i.r. transmission technique in surface studies has been explored using the sorption of propene, trans-butene and cyclopropane in activated zeolites CoNaY and HM. On CoNaY, after dehydration, near-tetrahedral Co2+ complexes remain, which are approached by the hydrocarbons without change of coordination number or ...

Rough Rice Grain Drying (BRSMG CONAI) at Temperatures of 60 and 80°C in Oven
Defect and Diffusion Forum, 2016Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a greatly important socio-economic crop. Immediate threshing and drying of wet harvested grains, to reach 18–19% (w.b) moisture content, is a practical method used by individual farmers to slow deterioration and increase selling prices.

Enhancement in reducibility of cobalt ions in CoNaY by treatment with alkali-metal hydroxides
Journal of the Chemical Society, Faraday Transactions, 1992Cobalt-containing Y-zeolites, prepared by ion exchange and treatment with aqueous alkali-metal hydroxide solution, have been investigated. The reducibility of cobalt ions in each site of zeolite Y was investigated by TPR. X-Ray diffraction, FTIR spectroscopy, UV–VIS DRS and Xe adsorption were used to investigate the effect of sodium hydroxide treatment.

Abstract Cobalt clusters prepared by reducing CoNaY with hydrogen at 500°C were characterized by ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) spectroscopy and carbon monoxide hydrogenation as a probe reaction. Two different amounts of cobalt ions in CoNaY (4.5 and 7 wt.% cobalt loading, Co-IE-4.5 and Co-IE-7) were prepared by an ion-exchange method and NaY of 10 wt.
