Isomerization of 2-methylpentane and ring opening of methylcyclopentane over PtCoNaY catalysts

Applied Catalysis A: General, 1997
Abstract The catalytic transformations of 2-methylpentane (2MP), and methylcyclopentane (MCP), over Co NaY , PtCo NaY , PtCo Al 2 O 3 and NaY samples have been investigated. Co NaY was found to be an excellent isomerization catalyst, in contrast to Co Al 2 O 3 on which the main route was ...

Untersuchungen an oxidischen Katalysatoren. XXXIII.

Transmission ultraviolet–visible–near-infrared spectroscopic investigations of the formation of carbocations in zeolites. Re-examination of propene/CoNaY and extension to trans-butene/CoNaY, propene/H-mordenite and cyclopropane/H-mordenite

Journal of the Chemical Society, Faraday Transactions 1: Physical Chemistry in Condensed Phases, 1983
The applicability of the u.v.–vis.–n.i.r. transmission technique in surface studies has been explored using the sorption of propene, trans-butene and cyclopropane in activated zeolites CoNaY and HM. On CoNaY, after dehydration, near-tetrahedral Co2+ complexes remain, which are approached by the hydrocarbons without change of coordination number or ...

Rough Rice Grain Drying (BRSMG CONAI) at Temperatures of 60 and 80°C in Oven

Defect and Diffusion Forum, 2016
Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a greatly important socio-economic crop. Immediate threshing and drying of wet harvested grains, to reach 18–19% (w.b) moisture content, is a practical method used by individual farmers to slow deterioration and increase selling prices.

Enhancement in reducibility of cobalt ions in CoNaY by treatment with alkali-metal hydroxides

Journal of the Chemical Society, Faraday Transactions, 1992
Cobalt-containing Y-zeolites, prepared by ion exchange and treatment with aqueous alkali-metal hydroxide solution, have been investigated. The reducibility of cobalt ions in each site of zeolite Y was investigated by TPR. X-Ray diffraction, FTIR spectroscopy, UV–VIS DRS and Xe adsorption were used to investigate the effect of sodium hydroxide treatment.

Characterization of cobalt clusters nucleated on CoNay by ferromagnetic resonance spectroscopy and carbon monoxide hydrogenation

Applied Catalysis, 1988
Abstract Cobalt clusters prepared by reducing CoNaY with hydrogen at 500°C were characterized by ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) spectroscopy and carbon monoxide hydrogenation as a probe reaction. Two different amounts of cobalt ions in CoNaY (4.5 and 7 wt.% cobalt loading, Co-IE-4.5 and Co-IE-7) were prepared by an ion-exchange method and NaY of 10 wt.
