Isomerization of 2-methylpentane and ring opening of methylcyclopentane over PtCoNaY catalysts

Applied Catalysis A: General, 1997
Abstract The catalytic transformations of 2-methylpentane (2MP), and methylcyclopentane (MCP), over Co NaY , PtCo NaY , PtCo Al 2 O 3 and NaY samples have been investigated. Co NaY was found to be an excellent isomerization catalyst, in contrast to Co Al 2 O 3 on which the main route was ...

Transmission ultraviolet–visible–near-infrared spectroscopic investigations of the formation of carbocations in zeolites. Re-examination of propene/CoNaY and extension to trans-butene/CoNaY, propene/H-mordenite and cyclopropane/H-mordenite

Journal of the Chemical Society, Faraday Transactions 1: Physical Chemistry in Condensed Phases, 1983
The applicability of the u.v.–vis.–n.i.r. transmission technique in surface studies has been explored using the sorption of propene, trans-butene and cyclopropane in activated zeolites CoNaY and HM. On CoNaY, after dehydration, near-tetrahedral Co2+ complexes remain, which are approached by the hydrocarbons without change of coordination number or ...

Characterization of cobalt clusters nucleated on CoNay by ferromagnetic resonance spectroscopy and carbon monoxide hydrogenation

Applied Catalysis, 1988
Abstract Cobalt clusters prepared by reducing CoNaY with hydrogen at 500°C were characterized by ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) spectroscopy and carbon monoxide hydrogenation as a probe reaction. Two different amounts of cobalt ions in CoNaY (4.5 and 7 wt.% cobalt loading, Co-IE-4.5 and Co-IE-7) were prepared by an ion-exchange method and NaY of 10 wt.

Rough Rice Grain Drying (BRSMG CONAI) at Temperatures of 60 and 80°C in Oven

Defect and Diffusion Forum, 2016
Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a greatly important socio-economic crop. Immediate threshing and drying of wet harvested grains, to reach 18–19% (w.b) moisture content, is a practical method used by individual farmers to slow deterioration and increase selling prices.

An X-ray Absorption Fine Structure Study of the Sulfidation Behavior of CoNaY Prepared by Ion Exchange:  The Influence of Physisorbed Water and Cobalt Loading

The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 1998
The influence of physisorbed water on the sulfidation of a 4 wt % cobalt containing ion exchanged CoNaY catalyst is studied by X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) and extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) and high resolution electron microscopy (HREM).

Effects of sodium hydroxide treatment on coordination changes of cobalt ions in CoNaY by means of UV/VIS diffuse reflectance spectroscopy

Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering, 1993
The coordination changes of Co2+ in CoNaY/NaOHs, prepared by cobalt ion-exchange and treatment with NaOH, during dehydration at various temperatures have been investigated by UV/VIS diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. After dehydration of CoNaY/NaOHs at 473 K, the DRS bands show the formation of mixed cobalt oxide species interacted with lattice oxygen ...
