The Journal of Industrial Economics, 1977
To an overwhelming extent, both theoretical and empirical studies of market competition have focused on the seller's side of the market, while competition among buyers has been virtually ignored.1 Among the few exceptions are the bilateral monopoly model,2 Galbraith's concept of countervailing power,3 and the literature on reciprocity.4 However, with ...

Concentration, Price, and Critical Concentration Ratios
The Review of Economics and Statistics, 1981A potentially important parameter that has not yet been convincingly estimated is the critical concentration ratio. This paper attempts to estimate it in three types of market. The estimation of a critical concentration ratio, if one exists, seems of potentially great importance because of its implication for antitrust policy.

Holographic Low Concentration Ratio Solar Concentrators
Frontiers in Optics 2009/Laser Science XXV/Fall 2009 OSA Optics & Photonics Technical Digest, 2009A model for holographic low concentration ratio concentrators for solar energy applications is presented and experimentally verified. The method is applied to two-dimensional holographic planar concentrators. Projected system energy yield is also evaluated.

Metabolite concentrations and concentration ratios in metabolic regulation
Advances in Enzyme Regulation, 1975Abstract Simple computational and graphic models were used to illustrate necessary design constraints in the evolution of two aspects of metabolic control: regulation at the catalytic site by ratios of metabolic coupling factors such as the ATP/ADP/AMP system and the pyridine nucleotides, and endproduct feedback inhibition. The observed constancy of

Thin solar concentrator with high concentration ratio
SPIE Proceedings, 2013Solar concentrators are often used in conjunction with III-V multi-junction solar cells for cost reduction and efficiency improvement purposes. High flux concentration ratio, high optical efficiency and high manufacture tolerance are the key features required for a successful solar concentrator design.

Factors Influencing Cyclosporine Blood Concentration—Dose Ratio
Annals of Pharmacotherapy, 2002OBJECTIVE: To analyze the trough cyclosporine concentration—dose ratio (CDR) and its relationship to some commonly available factors such as cyclosporine dosage, patient age, grade of obesity, posttransplant days, serum creatinine, serum bilirubin, and serum cholesterol by multiple linear regression. METHODS: The study was performed on 866 samples from
