View-limiting shrouds for insolation radiometers [PDF]

open access: yes
Insolation radiometers (normal incidence pyrheliometers) are used to measure the solar radiation incident on solar concentrators for calibrating thermal power generation measurements.

Техніка та технологія дезінтеграції й гравітаційного збагачення рідкіснометалічних руд [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
On the base of the analysis of centrifugal concentrators designs there has been justified the selection of apparatus for the rare-metal ores beneficiation.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Beneficiation of concentrated ultrafine suspensions with a Falcon UF concentrator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Falcon concentrators are enhanced gravity separators designed for concentrating fine particles. The Falcon UF model is unique in that it is dedicated to beneficiation of ultrafines, one key feature being that it does not make use of any fluidization ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

GDNF‐RET signaling drives pulmonary neuroendocrine cell hyperplasia and allergic airway inflammation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A neuroimmune interaction centered on the PNEC‐ILC2 axis in an asthma model. PNEC‐derived CGRP activates nearby ILC2s, which then release cytokines, including IL‐5 and IL‐13. These cytokines promote eosinophil and macrophage infiltration. Subsequently, GDNF produced by these cells induces PNEC hyperplasia via the GDNF receptors, RET and GFRα1 ...

Initial test bed concentrator characterization [PDF]

open access: yes
The operational characteristics and the mirror alignment technique of the test bed concentrator control system are highlighted. The final design of the TBC control system provided one axis of fast slew capability so that either the Sun acquisition or ...
