E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Conception Rate of Filial Friesian Holstein Cows After Being Inseminated Using Unsexed and Sexed Semen

open access: yesJurnal Ilmu-Ilmu Peternakan
This research aimed to increase the reproduction of dairy cows with artificial insemination (AI) in Filial Friesian Holstein cows using sexed semen. This research was conducted in Pandesari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency, East Java.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

PENGARUH pH MUKOSA VAGINA SAAT INSEMINASI BUATAN TERHADAP NON RETURN RATE (NRR) DAN CONCEPTION RATE (CR) PADA SAPI PERAH DI KSU TUNAS SETIA BARU KABUPATEN PASURUAN [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This study aims to find out the vaginal mucosa during artificial insemination against Non Return Rate (NRR) and Conception Rate (CR) in the highlands. Sixty female dairy cows were used as samples in this study. The pH of the vaginal mucosa is measured

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Level of heifers´ conception rate after insemination of conventional and sexed dose

open access: yes, 2016
The object of the study was to compare the results of insemination of dairy cows by using type of insemination dose, convertional or sexed. The hypothesis is an assumption of higher level of heifers conception rate after insemination by convertional dose

Conception rate and estrous return detection after TAI in Holstein cows

open access: yes, 2015
The aim of this study was to evaluate season-of-the-year influences on the moment of calving and insemination, number of days in milk (DIM), and the presence of corpus luteum (CL) in Holstein dairy cows submitted for a timed artificial insemination (TAI)
