Identifying Brexit voting patterns in the British House of Commons: an analysis based on Bayesian mixture models with flexible concomitant covariate effects [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Brexit and its implications are an ongoing topic of interest since the Brexit referendum in 2016. In 2019 the House of commons held a number of "indicative" and "meaningful" votes as part of the Brexit approval process. The voting behaviour of members of the parliament in these votes is investigated to gain insight into the Brexit approval process.

Metabolic concomitants of schizophrenia

open access: yesComprehensive Psychiatry, 1969
Abstract Thirty-two schizophrenic patients were studied during various phases of the illness. Measurements included (1) urinary excretion rates of several metabolically important substances, including hormones of the adrenal cortex and medulla; (2) blood cell counts and plasma concentrations of substances related to the stress response; (3) vital ...

The effect of concomitant DPPIVi use on glycaemic control and hypoglycaemia with insulin glargine 300 U/mL (Gla-300) versus insulin glargine 100 U/mL (Gla-100) in people with type 2 diabetes: A patient-level meta-analysis of EDITION 2 and 3 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Aims To evaluate the effect of concomitant dipeptidyl peptidase IV inhibitor (DPPIVi) use on efficacy and safety of insulin glargine 300 U/mL (Gla-300) versus glargine 100 U/mL (Gla-100) in people with type 2 diabetes on oral antihyperglycaemic drugs ...

Diffuse cutaneous mastocytosis with novel somatic KIT mutation K509I and association with tuberous sclerosis. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Diffuse cutaneous mastocytosis (DCM) is a rare but potentially fatal condition when diagnosis and targeted treatments are delayed. This case illustrates the life-threatening complications in DCM and reviews the currently available treatments.

Antibiotic Susceptibility-Guided Concomitant Therapy Regimen with Vonoprazan, High-Dose Amoxicillin, Clarithromycin, and Metronidazole for Helicobacter pylori Eradication as Fourth-Line Regimen: An Interventional Study

open access: yesMicroorganisms
This is the first registered intervention study for vonoprazan, high-dose amoxicillin, clarithromycin, and metronidazole 14-day concomitant therapy based on a susceptibility test of Helicobacter pylori.

Inaccuracy measures for concomitants of GOS in Morgenstern family [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
In this paper, we obtain a measure of inaccuracy between rth concomitant of generalized order statistic and the parent random variable in Morgenstern family. Applications of this result are given for concomitants of order statistics and record values.

Population and species neighbor identity impact trait–trait relationships and plant performance

open access: yesPopulation Ecology, EarlyView.
We evaluated how populations and species identity influence plant performance and trait outcomes in mixtures, and assessed trait variation among populations of two forb species native to the western United States (Dieteria canescens and Heterotheca villosa) following three interaction treatments (single‐population monoculture, two‐population mixture ...

Improving wide-band mass measurements in a multi-reflection time-of-flight mass spectrograph by usage of a concomitant measurement scheme [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We introduce a new concomitant referencing mode for operating a multi-reflection time-of-flight mass spectrograph (MRTOF-MS), wherein the reference and analyte ions are interleaved on a cycle by cycle bases. Using this mode, we demonstrate an improved technique for performing wide bandwidth mass measurements via MRTOF-MS.
