Summary: Consider a random sample of size \(n\) from an absolutely continuous bivariate distribution of \((X,Y)\). Let \(X_{i:n}\) denote the \(i\)th order statistic of the \(X\) sample values and \(Y_{[i:n]}\) its concomitant, the \(Y\)-value associated with \(X_{i:n}\). We are interested in the asymptotic behavior of some functionals of concomitants.
