General Distribution Theory of the Concomitants of Order Statistics
Let $(X_i, Y_i) (i = 1, 2, \cdots, n)$ be $n$ independent $\mathrm{rv}$'s from some bivariate distribution. If $X_{r:n}$ denotes the $r$th ordered $X$-variate, then the $Y$-variate $Y_{\lbrack r:n\rbrack}$ paired with $X_{r:n}$ is termed the concomitant of the $r$th order statistics.

Bivariate Pseudo–Gompertz distribution and concomitants of its order statistics
This paper presents a new bivariate Pseudo-Gompertz distribution that sprouts from the classical Gompertz distribution and possesses the features of pseudo-distribution functions. In addition to some standard properties of the proposed distribution, distributions of order statistics and their concomitants for samples drawn from the new distribution are

Concomitant of Order Statistics from New Bivariate Gompertz Distribution
For the new bivariate Gompertz distribution, the expression for probability density function (pdf) of rth order statistics and pdf of concomitant arising from rth order statistics are derived. The properties of concomitant arising from the corresponding order statistics are used to derive these results.

ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Osteosarcoma is a radioresistant tumor that may benefit from stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for locoregional control in metastatic/recurrent disease. We report institutional practice patterns, outcomes, toxicity, and failures in osteosarcoma patients treated with SBRT.

Correlation analysis of ordered symmetrically dependent observations and their concomitants of order statistics [PDF]
AbstractGiven two jointly observed random vectors Y and Z of the same dimension, let Y be a reordered version of Y and Z the resulting vector of concomitants of order statistics. When X is a covariate of interest, also jointly observed with Y, the authors obtain the joint covariance structure of (X, y, Z) and the related correlation parameters ...

Parent‐to‐Child Information Disclosure in Pediatric Oncology
ABSTRACT Background Despite professional consensus regarding the importance of open communication with pediatric cancer patients about their disease, actual practice patterns of disclosure are understudied. Extant literature suggests a significant proportion of children are not told about their diagnosis/prognosis, which is purported to negatively ...

In this paper we have suggested some improved estimator of parameters of Morgenstern type bivariate logistic distribution (MTBLD) using ranked set sampling. We have shown the superiority of the proposed estimators over Chacko and Thomas (2009) estimators.

Residual and Past Entropies of Concomitants from Lai And Xie Extensions of Case-II of Generalized Order Statistics and its Dual [PDF]
In this article, we consider a new extensions of Morgenstern family is Lai and Xie extensions and discuss their concomitants for case-II of generalized order statistics and case-II of dual generalized order statistics.

ABSTRACT Introduction Neuroblastoma (NB) with central nervous system (CNS) metastases is rare at diagnosis, but occurs more often during relapse/progression. Patients with CNS metastases face a dismal prognosis, with no standardized curative treatment available.
