A conceptual model for co‐developing a culturally tailored intervention for Latina immigrant caregivers of children with disabilities

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract The growing diversity of the U.S. population, partly due to immigration, has called attention to scholars and practitioners to attend to immigrants' cultural beliefs, values, and ways of doing when designing interventions to promote health and wellbeing.

Promoting radical healing to facilitate community capacity building among formerly incarcerated Black and Latino men with substance use disorders

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract This study reports on a qualitative thematic analysis of secondary data from group session recordings collected as part of the Community Wise Optimization Trial. Community Wise is a multilevel behavioral intervention designed to increase critical consciousness and reduce substance use among formerly incarcerated men living in predominantly ...

Durable Metal‐Organic Frameworks by Covalent Hybridization with Polyurethane and Polyallophanate

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
The organic ligands in MOFs were polymerized with diisocyanate, forming polyallophanate and polyurethane networks inside single crystals of MOFs. The hybridization of brittle MOF structure and flexible polyurethane and polyallophanate resulted in highly tough MOF crystals.

How is therapeutic residential care constructed within key policy documents ?

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
Abstract Therapeutic residential care (TRC) is a mode of delivering out‐of‐home care (OOHC) that can help meet the needs of some of Australia's most vulnerable young people and their families. TRC programmes aim to support young people to develop positive relationship experiences in a safe and stable environment.

Digital transformation of public employment services in the post‐pandemic era. Evidence from Italy as a latecomer country

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
Abstract The Next Generation EU (NGEU) economic recovery package has set the conditions for unprecedented investment in policy areas considered of strategic importance by each Member State. This article focusses on the Italian case, characterised by long‐lasting weaknesses in active labour market policies and public employment services (PES) to analyse

A Retrospective Analysis of Circular Economy and Industrial Decarbonization Metrics in the United States, 1998–2022

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Manufacturing and Processing, EarlyView.
Over two decades of emissions data are analyzed alongside economic indicators for 18 U.S. manufacturing industries. A retrospective analysis highlights interconnectedness (and in some cases, competition) between industrial growth, decarbonization, and materials circularity.

Signatures of the Correlated‐Hopping Interaction in Non‐Linear Transport Through a Quantum Dot

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, EarlyView.
Non‐linear thermoelectric transport through a quantum dot is studied, in order to elucidate the signatures of so‐called correlated hopping. The line shapes of the differential conductance and the Seebeck coefficient as functions of gate voltage are clear indicators of this important interaction term.

Charge Relocation Enables a Modular and Diastereoselective Synthesis of cis‐Substituted Tetrahydrofurans

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
A disconnection model in which acylium ions generated from acyl chlorides are treated with variety of alkenes is reported for the synthesis of 2,5‐cis‐disubstituted tetrahydrofurans (THFs) and other THF derivatives. A charge relocation process leads to the formation of oxocarbenium ions, which are reduced to the desired THF structures.

closo‐Carboranyl Analogs of β‐Arylethylamines: Direct Synthesis from Alkenes via EnT‐Catalysis

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
A strategy to directly synthesize closo‐carboranyl analogs of medicinal chemically important β‐arylethylamines from alkenes is reported. This reaction is enabled by the first formation of closo‐carboranyl radicals by energy transfer (EnT) catalysis and its unique mechanistic features.

Protein Secondary Structure Patterns in Short‐Range Cross‐Link Atlas

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Short‐range cross‐linking mass spectrometry (XL‐MS) reveals secondary structure‐dependent patterns in proteome‐wide datasets. By integrating XL‐MS data with AlphaFold‐predicted structures, we introduce X‐SPAN, a novel validation metric that assesses data quality and enables pLDDT score benchmarking.
