From Charge Storage Rulebook Rewriting to Commercial Viability of Zinc‐Manganese Batteries
The Mn3O4 cathode undergoes a partially in situ phase transition to MnO2 during the initial charging process, forming a hybrid Mn3O4/MnO2 cathode. The Mn3O4 provides a robust supporting structure for MnO2 to enhance the cathode stability upon H+/Zn2+ co‐insertion/extraction.

This article concludes that the microstructure as well as grain coarsening is suppressed and the growth of IMC layer is promoted in Sn58Bi/Cu solder joints versus Sn58Bi‐0.6 Ni/Cu solder joints after 1200 thermal shock experiments, while the mechanical properties of the solder joints are improved.

Finding and properly segmenting cracks in images of concrete is a challenging task. Cracks are thin and rough and being air filled do yield a very weak contrast in 3D images obtained by computed tomography. Enhancing and segmenting dark lower-dimensional structures is already demanding.

Solar fuels and other value‐added chemicals derived from light‐driven reactions are highly desirable. Although advanced photoactive materials have been reported, demonstrations of their feasibility in large‐scale production are needed. Hence, strategies and recent efforts in scaling up photocatalytic reactors and integrating them into comprehensive ...
