Concurrent Validity of the Quick Test

Psychological Reports, 1972
27 Ss in a diagnostic clinic for mental retardation were administered the QT and the WISC. The intercorrelations between the QT individual and combination forms were extremely high. Significant rs were obtained between the QT and Picture Arrangement, Coding, Performance Scale scores, and Full Scale scores.

Concurrent Generation of Concurrent Programs for Post-Silicon Validation

IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, 2012
The continuing trend toward increased parallelism in processor design can be seen in both the growing number of processor cores per system and in on-core hardware mechanisms that assist parallelism, such as multithreading and cache hierarchies. This complexity exacerbates the problem of ensuring the functional correctness of such hardware systems.

Concurrent Validity of the Wrat

Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1976
Using the WISC-R as the criterion of concurrent validity, correlations between the WRAT subtest standard scores and the WISC-R IQs of 51 Caucasian children were highest (.62, .68, and .59) between WISC-R Verbal Scale IQs and WRAT Spelling, Reading, and Arithmetic standard scores while being lowest (.26, .35, and .32) between WISC-R Performance IQs and

Concurrent Validity of McCarthy's Scales

Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1982
Data on the concurrent validity of the McCarthy Scales of Children's Abilities, using the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised as the criteria, were compared with those of other studies. In the present work 40 children were given the McCarthy scales and one of the Wechsler scales

Concurrent validity and Holland's theory

Journal of Vocational Behavior, 1974
Abstract This study was designed to explore two areas: (1) the concurrent validity of Holland's theory for employed men using four different operational definitions of vocational orientation, and (2) the relationships among all possible combinations of same named scales across the four inventories. Concurrent validity was studied by administering the

Concurrent Validity of the Addiction Severity Index

The Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease, 1983
The concurrent validity of the Addiction Severity Index (ASI), a new scale for assessing a range of clinical dimensions in drug and alcohol abusers, was evaluated in 204 opiate addicts applying for treatment. This study is the first independent validation study of this measure.

Validating optimizations of concurrent C/C++ programs

Proceedings of the 2016 International Symposium on Code Generation and Optimization, 2016
We present a validator for checking the correctness of LLVM compiler optimizations on C11 programs as far as concurrency is concerned. Our validator checks that optimizations do not change memory accesses in ways disallowed by the C11 and/or LLVM memory models.

Testing Concurrent Validity of Psychotherapy Problem Checklist

Psychological Reports, 1982
This study was an initial attempt to establish the concurrent validity of the Psychotherapy Problem Checklist (2, 3), a reliable (test-retest r = .81) self-report measure of clients' problem resolution, based on 21 items or symptoms (e.g., "Do you frequently have headaches?"; "Does your stomach often feel like it is tied up in knots?"; "Do you feel ...

The Concurrent Validity of Child Rorschach Interpretations

Journal of Personality Assessment, 1983
Rorschach records were obtained by 10 examiners from 59 preschool children. These records were reliably scored and interpreted. Interpretation consisted of preparing a list of Rorschach concepts for each child. An additional number of Rorschach concepts of equal frequency in this sample were added to each child's list of concepts.

Concurrent validation of schizotaxia: a pilot study

Biological Psychiatry, 2001
Many first-degree relatives of patients with schizophrenia show deficits in clinical, neuropsychological, neurobiological and social domains, in the absence of psychosis. We recently reformulated Meehl's concept of schizotaxia to conceptualize the liability to schizophrenia, and we proposed preliminary criteria based on the presence of negative ...
